Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Library Annual Workshop

Thomas MacEntee

Save Saturday, November 2, 2019, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Thomas MacEntee

Thomas MacEntee was laid off from a 25-year career in information technology during the Great Recession of 2008. He took a personal inventory, and identified himself as a lifelong learner with experience in a wealth of topics. Thomas had a love of history, and had been doing genealogy research for many years. He incorporated his passions and talents of teaching, inspiring, instigating, and serving as a curator and go-to guy for concept nurturing and inspiration, crafting his new career as a professional genealogist.

Today, Thomas MacEntee is a professional genealogist based in the United States who wears many hats: blogger, educator, author, social media liaison, online community builder and more.

The workshop will be held at the Roswell Museum and Art Center where we will enjoy table seating in the Bassett Auditorium:

1011 N. Richardson Avenue, Roswell, NM 88201.
Cross Streets: Near the intersection of N Main St and E 11th St.
Parking is behind the building on west side of Richardson Ave.

On-site registration is at 8:30 AM, and presentations begin at 9:00 AM.

Snacks, beverages and a box lunch will be served. Donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of lunch.

Thomas MacEntee will discuss these topics:
