Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Library

The Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Research Library is a special collection, standalone library that was established in April 1999. It was organized to serve the needs of Roswell, New Mexico and surrounding communities in the geographical area.

Monetary support for the library comes through members, grants, charitable donations from individuals, and fund raisers.

We welcome donations of books, office supplies, and any other items that may be used in the operations of the library.

NEW! The library just received a new book compiled by David Minton, Pattie Wier and Janelle Foster, Confederate Veterans Buried in Eastern New Mexico that contains a section listing United Confederate Veterans, Val Verde Camp 1419. Browse the table of contents on the website, and visit the library or contact us for more information on a veteran listed in the book.

The Roswell Genealogical Society meets at the library at 1:30 PM the second Thursday of every month, September through May. The public is invited to attend. Programs for January 2015 - December 2015
